It combines animals benefited with commitment count to surface NGOs that appear to convert program dollars into broader corporate engagement.

Calculation Steps
The product layer applies the formula consistently across NGOs:
- Read animals benefited, commitment count, and program budget for the NGO.
- Multiply animals benefited by commitment count to form the prototype numerator.
- Divide by program budget when the denominator is present and positive.
Interpretation
Higher values indicate more prototype impact points per program dollar in the current snapshot.
Treat outputs as product scaffolding rather than welfare science conclusions.
Limitations
Commitment count is a coarse proxy and does not measure realized welfare reductions.
Prototype weighting may overstate NGOs with many similar commitments.
